A seller-run group buying organization
Local Margin LLC is based in Michigan and run by working Amazon sellers. We built this because we were the ones paying list price.
Why this exists
Our founder runs a $700K-a-year Amazon business. For years he watched freight, prep and software quietly eat margins he had already earned.
The biggest sellers negotiate everything. Everyone else pays list price, not because their product is different but because their account is smaller. That gap is the whole reason Local Margin exists.
What we do about it
We pool the buying power of independent sellers and negotiate as one account. When we source on a member's behalf we act as the buyer of record, so the supplier never learns who the seller is.
Today that work is done by hand. Wholesale Finder is live to take the request, but a person here reads every one and works it personally. We would rather do it properly and slowly than pretend that part is automated.
Where we are
Early, and honest about it. The group is forming now, the agreements are being negotiated now, and the savings figures on this site are published industry benchmarks rather than our own results.
Founding members shape what we go after first. The categories where members spend most are the suppliers we approach first.
